Continuity Of Support While Therapy Excellence Expands

If you already receive support from Excellent Carers, your therapy may still be under that name for now. But going forward, therapy services are moving across to Therapy Excellence, a dedicated department that still works closely with your broader care team.

This means you get focused therapy support that fits in with the rest of your life, without starting over. Whether your service agreement says Excellent Carers or Therapy Excellence, the goal is the same: helping you build confidence, capacity, and calm.

What Therapy Should Feel Like

Therapy is not about ticking boxes or getting through a list of tasks. It is about making real life feel easier, at home, at work, in the community, or wherever you want to be.

Excellent therapy helps you move, speak, plan, connect, or relax with more ease. Most importantly empowering your independence.

Here is what matters: it should fit you. Your pace. Your needs. Your goals.

The Types Of Therapy We Offer

Through Therapy Excellence, you can access a wide range of supports, all linked back to the same values you already know from Excellent Carers.

Occupational Therapy

Support Coordination

Positive Behaviour Support

Speech Pathology

These therapies can be delivered in your home, at school, online, or in the community. Some people prefer a familiar setting; others like a quiet clinic space. We will talk through what feels right for you and set it up accordingly.

Understand How Therapy And Daily Supports Work Together

Why This Change Is Happening Now

You might be wondering, why the change? Why create Therapy Excellence as a separate part of the service?

The reason is simple. As demand for therapy services grew, we needed more focus, more capacity, and more clarity for families. Therapy Excellence lets us do that while still keeping everything connected.

This helps us keep improving how things run so you get more consistent support that feels joined up, not pieced together.

Coordinated healthcare team

How It All Works Together

Think of Excellent Carers and Therapy Excellence like two sides of the same coin. One handles your day-to-day supports, in-home, community, SIL, high-intensity. The other handles your therapy. But behind the scenes, they still talk. They still plan together. And they still show up as one team for you.

Coordinated Help That Keeps Everyone On The Same Page

Here is an example:

Let us say your child sees a speech therapist through Therapy Excellence. That therapist can speak with your community support worker from Excellent Carers to help them understand communication preferences. So everyone is on the same page. You do not have to explain things twice.

Already With Excellent Carers? You Do Not Need To Change Anything Yet

If your therapy is already part of your Excellent Carers service agreement, you do not need to do anything. Your services will continue, and your therapists will let you know if there is anything new to sign or change down the track.

If you are starting something new, your referral might go directly to Therapy Excellence. Either way, we will guide you through it.

The main thing to remember is this: support stays steady. There is no need to re-explain everything or get used to new people if you do not want to. We will keep your circle of support as familiar and easy as possible.

Calm therapy session

Therapy That Feels Grounded, Not Overwhelming

Therapy does not have to feel clinical or overwhelming. At Therapy Excellence, sessions are shaped around what actually matters to you: getting dressed, eating meals, managing emotions, building strength, or joining in with your community.

And just as importantly, we understand that progress looks different for everyone. Some people need short bursts of support. Others need long-term consistency. You will not be rushed, pressured, or made to feel like you have to fit into a program that is not quite right.

This is your support. It should feel calm, manageable, and useful.

A Team That Knows What Life Is Really Like

Therapists at Therapy Excellence do not just bring qualifications. They bring lived experience and real understanding. Many of them have supported family members, worked in hands-on care, or walked alongside participants with complex needs.

They know that therapy is not about perfection. It is about making the next part of the day go a little more smoothly. It is about helping someone eat with less mess, speak with more clarity, or move without so much discomfort. That grounded approach shows up in every session.

Why This Matters For Families

If you are a family member or carer, you might feel like it is all on you to coordinate everything. Therapy appointments. Support workers. NDIS reviews. Progress reports. It is a lot.

That is why having both arms of support under one umbrella helps. You do not need to worry about getting therapists and carers to communicate. You do not need to chase updates or explain goals over and over.

With Excellent Carers and Therapy Excellence working as one network, the support wraps around your family, instead of expecting you to manage it all.
